We recently added to our education portfolio a fit out of the Engineering Department at Aston University

The project was to carry out a site survey, design, manufacture and then fit a workshop area and a kitchen area. Both areas required products made to fit the workspace. This involved fitting around pillars, all of which were different sizes.

The workshop area was supplied with high quality heavy-duty timber workbenches manufactured with a softwood frame, solid beech hardwood top and a hardwood upstand to fit around each pillar. The benches were delivered part-assembled for the fitters to complete on site.

The kitchen area consisted of an 8 metre run which was manufactured in sections at the factory and then assembled on site. The cabinets were manufactured from MFC and the worktop was a 16mm Trespa Base TopLab. Both jobs were completed on time and in full to the customer’s satisfaction.
