Following a previous successful completion of a laboratory for a chemical company, we were subsequently asked to look at a new area in their R&D department

This area was very user specific, so each workstation and drawer unit had to be designed and tailored to each person. In total there were 17 different designs of drawers and cupboards manufactured and installed in varying combinations.

Being involved from the very start of the project, we were able to speak to each member of staff in the area concerned, to ensure their individual requirements were met. Products were designed, proofed and approved by the customer prior to production.

Using our experience, product knowledge and design skills, we were able to produce functional and aesthetically pleasing furniture that sat comfortably in this prestigious R&D facility.

The work surface was a high end Trespa TopLab Plus. This was machined and jointed in our factory to keep onsite labour to a minimum. It also prevented dust and waste materials from contaminating the clean room status of this site. The results were very well received by the customer with much positive feedback.
