Welcome to our Summer 2009 Newsletter which explains how we have extended our range to customers by developing new products.

Again we have shown how flexible we can be and how versatile our equipment is at Eaton Timber Products.

When we were asked to produce 700 locker doors from solid grade laminate TRESPA the CNC router came into its own and with an investment in Diamond Tipped Tooling we were able to obtain a superb finish at a reasonable cost.

Solid grade laminate is a very high performance material, which can be used for many different applications including worktops, cubicles, lockers and vanity units in environments demanding quality, cleanliness and precision.

Sectors frequently demanding solid grade laminate include: healthcare, education, hotel and leisure, research and development, transport and pharmaceutical. For more information on these areas, please contact us.

Manufacture of Locker Doors

The photograph shows the Solid Grade Laminate doors being manufactured on our Anderson CNC Router. The machine can be loaded with laminate blanks at one station while it is drilling and routing on the opposite station. The excellent machine utilisation and efficient production ensured that the project was completed on time and to budget.

The Diamond Tipped Tooling ensures that the product coming off the CNC machine does not require any further finishing, allowing the goods to be shipped directly to our customer.

The Eaton Timber doors were supplied to QMP who manufactured the lockers for a well known school. The Solid Grade Laminate doors give the lockers a durability and strength that cannot be matched by standard steel or wooden doors, which means they are now the preferred choice in tough and demanding environments.
